Dublin is a city that is divided and split in half by the river Liffy. Historically the north side of the river has always been seen as the more working class side of Dublin, while south side has always been seen as the more middle and upper class side. Today however this is no longer the case.

Dublin isn’t a large city, but it isn’t a small city either. In fact, it has often been said that Dublin is the perfect size. It’s big enough that you will always have something new to do, but it’s also small enough that it is easy to get around and navigate, even on foot if you like.

If you look at a map of the city you will see that it is divided into postcode districts. D1, D2, D3 ect. An odd numbered postcode refers to a district on the north side of the river. An even number post code refers to a district on the south side of the river.

All of Dublin City Rentals properties are located in the city centre. We operate in the postcodes D1, D2, D4, D6, D7 & D8. We specifically focus on these districts as these locations give you an ideal city centre location to base yourself in while you are within easy reach of the city centre and all of the tourist attractions, even on foot.
